Fantastic Fun at the Ceilidh

Anyone who stayed at home to watch Strictly missed a fantastic night of dancing the New Hall! The Ceilidh organised by the teenagers going to South Africa was great fun!

Although the ceilidh band had to cancel at the last minute due to illness, they gave the team excellent sound equipment and recordings for all the dances. This worked a treat!
Everyone there was keen to dance and the floor was full when at the end the Orcadian Strip the Willow was called.

Cakes and drinks were available throughout the night and at supper time they tucked into true Scottish fare - rolls with Lorne sausage and potato scones!

A Scottish Quiz gave dancers the time to catch their breath.

Altogether a successful night out!

The Ceilidh Band are sorry about having to cancel and have offered to come back early in the new year.
